COURSE INTRODUCTION

The MCTS credential enables professionals to target specific technologies and distinguish themselves by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in their subject area technologies.

This course will prepare the student for Exam 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator. Topics covered include planning for server deployment and management, application and data provisioning, business continuity and high availability, and monitoring and maintaining servers.

Before attending this course, students should have up to 1 year experience implementing server plans although have probably not yet had full responsibility for planning.This course requires that students meet the following prerequisites: A strong familiarity with Active Directory technologies and implementation, A strong familiarity with Windows deployment technologies and implementation and a strong familiarity with Windows networking technologies and implementation.
