Although there is no required order, we recommend that you watch Windows Server 2008 Active Directory (70-640) first, Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure
(70-642) second, and Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator (70-646) last.

NO! All you need is a computer with Internet Explorer and a media player; however, working hands-on with a Windows Server 2008 computer may enhance your training experience.
"Which Microsoft certification exams do I take after completing this training package?"
The three exams needed to achieve the MCITP Server Administrator certification are 70-640, 70-642, and 70-646. The courses in this package will prepare you for all three of these exams.
"Will the training courses in this package prepare me for the lab based
83-640 Windows Server 2008 Active Directory exam?"
YES! This course will help you prepare for the lab based 83-640 Windows Server 2008 Active Directory exam, which will gradually replace the 70-640 exam. The study objectives are the same for both exams (70-640 and 83-640); the content has not changed, just the format.
Note: The 83-640 exam has replaced the 70-640 exam in select countries only. In areas where the 83-640 exam hasn't been released, test-takers will take the 70-640 exam. Both versions count equally toward certification. Be sure to know which exam is offered in your area.
